Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer 2021 Grade C & D

Qualification:

Candidates going to apply for Stenographer Post must have possessed Senior Secondary from any recognized Board or University

Age:

Contender’s age should be resided in between 18 to 30 years for Grade C exam and between 18 to 27 years for Grade D exam as on 1st August 2020.

Relaxation in age will be applicable for reserved category as per the Staff Selection Commission norms.

Experience:

There is not any basic experience requirement for this exam.

Nationality:

The following nationality desirous candidates are eligible to apply for SSC Stenographer 2021 Examination:

  • Citizens of India, Bhutan and Nepal
  • Tibetan refugees who have come to India with the intention of settling down permanently.
  • Candidates born in India, however, moved to Burma, Pakistan, Easter African countries and Sri Lanka and want to settle permanently in India.

Hiring Procedure

Selection of aspirants will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in computer based examination and Skill test for Stenography.

Application Fee

  • UR Aspirants other than Women candidates, ESM, SC, ST, PwD Category are required to Pay Examination Fees of Rs. 100/-. Women candidates, ESM, SC, ST, PwD Category candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
  • Applicants can pay fee in any mode either Online or Offline.

Admit Card is not yet released but below we are telling you, how you can download Staff Selection Commission hall ticket when it will be released by the officials:

  • Job Hunters have to open the official site first which is ssc.nic.in
  • Then the candidate should select the “Latest News” option which is available on the home page of the official site.
  • Now candidate should select recruitment for which candidates want to apply.
  • Now search and press the hall ticket download button.
  • Candidate can download hall ticket either by entering the name or registration number.
  • Then enter on submit button in few second hall ticket will display on your computer screen.
  • Download the call letter or take the printout of it and bring it at the time of examination

After clearing the Computer Based Exam the aspirants have to clear the stenography test:

For Grade C: The speed should be 80 wpm, while the transcription time should be 50 minutes and 65 minutes for English and Hindi respectively.

For Grade D: Speed should be 100 wpm, where the transcription time for English and Hindi will be 40 minutes and 55 minutes respectively.

Syllabus for SSC Openings 2021

English language and comprehension: English language, synonyms, antonyms, grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, reading comprehension, etc. In English language sections, writing ability will also be tested.

General Intelligence (Reasoning Questioning): Verbal and nonverbal types of questions, problem-solving analysis, arithmetic reasoning, impotence, number series, blood relation concept, visual memory, and more.

General Awareness: Based on the important dates of the festival, current events, the name of the author of the book, important sports day, history, general politics, the economy of India, scientific research, economic sentiment and Indian constitution, current affairs, newspapers, etc.

Results

As per expectation, the result will be declared in PDF format in the month of March. The result will be available on the official site i.e. http://ssconline.nic.in. By entering the name with the roll number, candidates can check their results. The result will be declared on the basis of sectional and overall marks. Candidates who fail to meet the minimum cut off criteria will be disqualified from the further selection process.
