Application Procedure

  • To apply you should rush to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission
  • Now go to the examination option and hit on Active examination
  • Look for the “Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021” notification
  • Read the advertisement first and then choose “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC” link
  • You have to select “Click Here for PART I” option given in front of exam code CSP
  • Read the instruction carefully, choose Yes and application form will appear
  • Mention the information, register yourself, deposit the fee and select the examination centre.
  • Upload photograph and signature in JPED format and hit on “Submit”.
  • Choose “Click Here for PART II” and login by entering your registration ID, date of birth & captcha code
  • Hit submit option and fill the part II of the application
  • Submit the second part of the form and keep a Print of application form for future use.

Important Dates

  • Date of notification: 4 March, 2021
  • Closing of the application submission: 24 March, 2021
  • Withdrawal of application: 31 March, 2021 to 6 April, 2021
  • Preliminary examination will be held on 27 June, 2021
